Hairspray the movie is finally released at Cinemas across the UK, and Funny Girls was invited by The Odeon Blackpool, to attend the opening screening.

The American Broadway muscial production of Hairspray won eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, seven Drama Desk awards, five Critics' Circle Awards and a Grammy for the original cast recording.

Our girls and boys get into the spirit by dressing for the occasion, and as always their appearance not only turned heads, but drew gasps from fellow movie goers as the magnificently manicured bouffants arrived - with the help of a little hairspray of course !
